VOICE network

People and communities are important to us because they help improve all aspects of the healthcare we provide, including patient safety, patient experience and health outcomes – giving people the power to live healthier lives.

VOICE is a network of groups, charities and individuals in our community which have a passion to make improvements to their local healthcare services. The network works closely with the Patient Experience and Engagement team as well as making valuable connections with other groups and individuals involved in VOICE.

VOICE members play an important role in contributing to decisions about service changes and developments, sharing feedback from their networks about how we can improve the experience of patients and their loved ones. Members are also instrumental in connecting with minority groups and existing community associations.

Being part of VOICE enables groups and charities to assist with quality improvement projects, and helps us to engage with our patients and community about what matters most to them. VOICE members are real assets to the organisation and offer invaluable support to drive change throughout the Trust and community.
