Foundation Trust to hold its Annual Members' Meeting
The West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust will hold its Annual Members’ Meeting on Tuesday, 26 September 2023 from 5.15pm to 7.30pm.
The event at the Apex in Bury St Edmunds gives Trust members and the public a chance to hear about the year the Trust has had, and a look ahead to the future. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions at points throughout the evening.
Our chief executive, Dr Ewen Cameron, will set out the highlights from the past year and cover formal business as well as discussing our Trust’s progress against its five year strategy and developments in its ambition to deliver a new healthcare facility in Bury St Edmunds by 2030.
Dr Ewen Cameron said: “This event allows our members and the public to get an insight into how their local NHS Trust is performing. There will also be an insightful talk from our talented consultant paediatrician, Dr Ankit Mathur, and the opportunity to engage with our local health partners.
“I hope anyone interested in their local health service attends and I look forward to welcoming all those from our local community.”
The meeting will include a special interest talk on the theme of child development from the Trust’s consultant paediatrician, Dr Ankit Mathur. The foyer and first floor of the Apex will host a marketplace of stands from partner organisations in the health, care and voluntary sector. The aim of the marketplace is to give attendees the opportunity to find out more about the support available to them in our community, and the ways in which they can look after their own health and wellbeing.
The doors open at 5.15pm, with the Annual Members’ Meeting in the auditorium between 6pm and 7pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
To book your place at the meeting and special interest talk, please RSVP by Tuesday, 12 September through one of the following ways:
