Dietitians use the most up-to-date research and evidence on food and health to provide education and practical advice that is specifically tailored to the individual.

Services we provide
Our service includes dietitians, dietetic support workers and nutrition nurses. They work together to help you eat well, stay healthy and manage health conditions safely, both in hospital and in the community, including in your own home.
Acute dietetics
Our acute inpatient dietetic team is based on the ground floor of the therapies department at West Suffolk Hospital.
We see patients on all inpatient wards, including:
Community dietitians
Our community dietetic team is based at Maple House in Moreton Hall. We run clinics for adults and some children across Suffolk and Thetford. These take place in health centres, community hospitals, GP surgeries and at West Suffolk Hospital.
If you receive home visits from your GP, you may also be seen at home.
We give expert dietary advice for many conditions, including:
Nutrition nursing team
The community nutrition nursing team provide nursing support to home enterally fed (tube fed) patients living in the West Suffolk and Thetford area.
