Orbital final posterJoin us for our first thrilling abseil: a 262ft freefall drop over the edge of the ArcelorMittal Orbit - the tallest sculpture in the UK.

The ArcelorMittal Orbit, designed by Turner-Prize winning artist Sir Anish Kapoor is a truly spectacular and unique venue set within Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. It is 22 metres taller than the Statue of Liberty and almost six times taller than the Angel of the North.

From the dizzying heights, visitors will experience a show-stopping panorama that includes iconic buildings such as The Shard, Big Ben, The Gherkin, St Paul’s, Canary Wharf and Wembley Stadium and the world-famous sporting venues of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Before stepping over the edge professional abseil instructors will provide a comprehensive safety briefing and all the specialist equipment required for your challenge.

Sign up before 31st March to take advantage of our early bird offer of just £50 (sign up 1st April will be £85).

You can choose to fundraise for any area of the West Suffolk Hospital, the choice is yours. The money, as always, will be used to further enhance the care and support given to patients and their families so every penny you raise will really make a huge difference.

You can use sponsor forms (available to download from our fundraising pack) but the easiest way is to start a Just Giving page (details of how to set this up are also available in the fundraising pack). Just let us know which are you are supporting on your page.

If you hit our minimum fundraising target of £250 you will receive a free t-shirt and medal but remember, like your abseil, the sky is the limit!
